FOR ABUNDANT LIFE BAPTIST CHURCH
1. Children and Family Life Pastor
Abundant Life Baptist Church is an English Congregation affiliated to the Singapore Baptist Convention. She has an active congregation of 80 worshippers. The church reaches out to children through Good News Club and KidsRead Ministries. She reaches out to unchurched children and families as well. The church is seeking for a full-time servant-leader to fulfil the role of a pastor in charge of children and family life ministries.
Responsibilities of Children and Family Life Pastor
- To shepherd and mentor the children workers
- To start a family life fellowship for young parents in the church to support life transition and
church transtional growth. - To equip children workers for effective ministry
- To mentor young parents and equip them for family life
- To network with unchurched families through Good News Club and KidsRead
(Church Community Outreach) - To teach and preach God's Word
- To be a disciplmaker
- To assist the Pastor-In-Charge or Lead Pastor
Qualifications
- Theological or ministry training from a recognized seminary
- Have at least 3 to 5 years and above of ministry and pastoral experience
- Have a passion for evangelism, discipleship and family life
- Possess leadership skills and a flexible working attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English
- Ability to work as a team
- Mandarin language skills and corporate working experiences are assets
- Singaporean or PR
2. Youth and Young Adults Pastor
Abundant Life Baptist Church is an English Congregation affiliated to the Singapore Baptist Convention. She has an active congregation of 80 worshippers. The church is seeking for a full-time servant-leader to fulfil the role of a pastor in charge of Youth and Young Adults ministry.
Responsibilities of Youth and Young Adults Pastor
- To shepherd the youth and young adults in life transitions that they become followers of Jesus
- To start a youth and young adults fellowship for ministry growth
- To equip small group leaders in charge of youth and young adults ministry
- To mentor youth and young adults' leaders
- To teach and preach God's Word
- To be a disciplemarker
- To assist the Pastor-In-Charge or Lead Pastor
Qualifications
- Theological training from a recognized seminary
- Have at least 3 to 5 years of ministry and pastoral experience
- Have a passion for evangelism and discipleship
- Possess leadership skills and a flexible working attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English
- Ability to work as a Team with the staff and lay leaders
- Mandarin language skills and corporate working experiences are assets
- Singaporean or PR
